Runners turn out for tribute half marathon in Ganderbal

Srinagar, Mar 29: The Chinar Corps organised the Paratrooper Shabir Ahmad Malik, Kirti Chakra (Posthumous) Half Marathon on Sunday. The event, held under the theme “Run for Honour, Run with Pride,” saw enthusiastic participation from runners across the Kashmir Valley.

The half marathon commenced at Qamariya Ground, Ganderbal, and concluded at Sainik School Manasbal, with participants showcasing remarkable energy and determination throughout the course.

Tahir Aziz Malik emerged victorious, securing first place with an impressive timing of 1 hour and 25 minutes.
