Eligibility Criteria


Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D. Degree in relevant disciplines such as

  • Food Technology
  • Nuclear Physics
  • Engineering disciplines (as per project requirement)

For certain specialized projects, M.E./M.Tech with relevant experience may also be accepted.

Experience Requirement:

Preference will be given to candidates having:

  • Post-Ph.D. research experience
  • Experience in specialized research techniques relevant to the project

Fellowship Amount and Benefits


Selected candidates will be placed under different fellowship levels based on qualifications and experience.

RA-I ₹58,000 ₹50,000 Contingency per year + HRA
RA-II ₹61,000 ₹50,000 Contingency per year + HRA
RA-III ₹67,000 ₹50,000 Contingency per year + HRA

Selection Process


Selection of candidates will be conducted through the following stages:

  1. Screening of Applications based on eligibility, research experience, and publications
  2. Shortlisting of candidates for Interview
  3. Final Selection based on interview performance and research credentials

The final fellowship level (RA-I, RA-II, or RA-III) will be determined based on research achievements and performance in the interview.
