Jammu Kashmir: High Court Grants Retrospective Promotions to Six Officers | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir has approved retrospective promotions for six of its officers, making their elevations effective from December 30, 2025. The move follows the endorsement of the Committee for Appointment and Promotion of High Court Staff’s recommendations.

Although the promotions were earlier issued under Order No. 92 of 2026 dated January 23, 2026, they will now be considered notionally effective from the date the committee adopted its resolution.

The officers benefiting from the decision are Ajay Sharma, Dalip Razdan, Shahji Bhat, Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani, Nazir Ahmad Ganai, and Asima Illiyas Chesti.
