Schools, Govt Offices to Remain Open in Jammu Kashmir Tomorrow | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: All educational institutions and government offices will remain open in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, March 20, 2026, as the holiday on account of Jumat-ul-Vida was observed earlier on March 13.

Authorities clarified that the holiday had been preponed last week, and therefore no holiday will be observed on Friday.

Normal functioning will continue across schools, colleges and government offices, with employees and students required to follow the regular schedule.

The clarification has been issued to avoid any confusion among the public regarding the observance of the occasion this week.
