The Sahitya Akademi Award in Dogri has been conferred on Khajur Singh Thakur for Thakur Satsayie (Poetry, Couplets), while in Kashmiri, the award goes to Ali Shaida for his poetry collection Najdavanek’y Pot Aalav.
The Award is in the form of a casket containing an engraved copper-plaque, a shawl and an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- towards award money each will be presented to the awardees at a presentation ceremony to be held on 31 March 2026 in New Delhi.
