MLA Lolab Qaysar Jamshaid Inspects Developmental Works, Inaugurates Several Newly-constructed Govt Buildings

Kupwara: MLA Lolab Qaysar Jamshaid Lone on Saturday visited several areas of the Lolab Valley including Lalpora, Krusan, Maidanpora, Khodi and Warnow, where he reviewed ongoing development works and inaugurated a number of newly constructed government buildings.

During the visit, the MLA was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development Kupwara Irshad Ahmad, Block Development Officer Sogam Ubaid ur Rashid, Block Veterinary Officer Sogam Dr Rafiq Rahman, SHO Kuligam Bashir Ahmad and other officials from the concerned departments.

Lone inspected various projects underway in the constituency and directed the officials to ensure that all development works are completed within the stipulated timeframe so that improved public facilities can be made available to residents.

He said the government is making sustained efforts to strengthen infrastructure and accelerate development across the region. He added that several projects aimed at improving basic amenities and services in Lolab are progressing steadily.

During his tour, the MLA also visited the residences of several party workers who had recently passed away and conveyed condolences to their bereaved families.

Residents of the area welcomed the visit and expressed hope that the pace of development in the valley would further improve in the coming months.
