Srinagar, Mar 15: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum Abdul Qayoom Wani has expressed concern on delay in approving a vital road connectivity bridge between Kandahama and Pinjoora Kunzer.Wani said this bridge is a long pending demand of the whole area of Kunzer which connects Budgam to Tangmarg and also will function as an alternative road from Srinagar and Budgam to Gulmarg.
“Keeping this vital road connectivity pending seems politically motivated,” Wani said, adding that people of this whole area were pleading for this connectivity for years together but it is still a distant dream for the area despite completion of all required formalities alongwith DPR.
Wani appealed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and R&B Minister to consider this vital project to address long pending demand of the people of the area in general and residents of Khandhama and Pinjoora Kunzer Tangmarg in particular.Qayoom Wani assured the delegation of the concerned area that he will plead this issue infront of the government.
