MLA Lolab Qaysar Jamshaid Inaugurates Smart Classrooms in Sogam Zone

Kupwara: MLA Lolab, Qaysar Jamshaid Lone, on Thursday inaugurated smart classrooms in three schools of Sogam Zone as part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure in the constituency.

The facilities were inaugurated at UPS Lone Mohallah Kanthpora, Government Girls Middle School Wavoora, and Government Girls Middle School Khodi. The projects were completed under the Constituency Development Fund of the MLA.

The inauguration programme was attended by Chief Education Officer Kupwara, Manzoor Ahmad Najar, Zonal Education Officer Sogam, school staff, students and local residents.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said integration of technology in classrooms is necessary to improve the quality of education, particularly in rural and remote areas. He said students must have access to modern learning tools so they can keep pace with changing academic systems.

He stated that smart classrooms will make the teaching process more interactive and help teachers adopt improved instructional methods in schools.

Reaffirming his focus on strengthening the education sector in the constituency, the MLA said additional steps will be taken to upgrade infrastructure in schools across the Lolab area.

Residents and school authorities appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude to the MLA for prioritising improvement of educational facilities in the region.
