Need fact-finding in attack on Dr Farooq: Prof Soz

Srinagar, Mar 12: Condemning the attack on NC President and former chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah, former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Prof Saifuddin Soz said that he personally offered good wishes to Dr Farooq and prayed for his long life. “I am convinced that Farooq Saheb has already earned Kudos for his services to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. It goes to his credit that he is always accessible to the people for right advice and any service of public importance,” said Prof Soz.

“While all manner of people have heaved a sigh of relief on Farooq Saheb’s safety, a significant question remains as to how the would-be assassin – as per J&K Police – Kamal Singh Jamwal, reached so very easily to Farooq Sahib who has Z+ Security Cover,” Soz quipped.
