KPDCL announces power shutdown

Srinagar, Mar 09: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Monday announced power shutdown in several parts of Kashmir division in coming days.

In a communication, Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL said that the shutdown of 33 KV Bemina I & II will be observed due to which power supply to Police Colony, Qamarabad, Usmanabad, Iqbalabad, Qamarwari Market, Medical Hostel, PDD Complex, SK Colony, Hamza Colony, Sir Syed Abad and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 12 Noon on 10, 14 & 28 March 2026.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Kanipora-Pinjoora line will be observed due to which power supply to Town, Arhama, Pinjoora, Klora, Imamsahib, Vehil, Nowgam, Reshinagri, Pahnoo, Shirmal and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 12, 15, 23 & 25 March 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Achabal Cherpora Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to Achabal, Shangus, Nowgam, Cherpora and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 11 & 14 March 2026.
