Party leaders pay tributes to Iran’s Supreme Leader, special prayers held
Srinagar, March 1: Apni Party held a condolence meeting on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who was killed in a US–Israeli attack today.
According to a statement issued here, Apni Party leaders gathered in Srinagar today to convene a condolence meeting on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The condolence and special prayer meeting was presided over by party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.
The leaders voiced deep sorrow and grief over the brutal U.S.-Israel attack on Iran and the martyrdom of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. They paid heartfelt tribute to the late Iranian leader, describing him as a revered figure. They described the U.S.–Israeli assault as barbaric and forcefully condemned what they termed acts of blatant aggression and brutality against Iran.
Earlier, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari conveyed his deep condolences on the reported death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In a message posted on his X account, he wrote: “With a broken heart and bowed spirit, I mourn the martyrdom of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who was killed today in a US–Israeli attack. Today, the world witnessed the passing of an extraordinarily brave and towering leader—a man whose courage, conviction, and unwavering dedication shaped the course of his nation and the wider region, and inspired millions. The void created by his death will not be easily filled.”
