ADG Armed reviews IRP 2nd Bn Rajouri, inaugurates facilities

Rajouri, Feb 21: ADG Armed, Anand Jain on Saturday visited Rajouri and conducted operational review of IRP 2nd Bn.

A statement of J&K Police issued here said that the visit of ADG Armed J&K underscores its commitment to maintaining peak efficiency and morale among its personnel.

ADG Armed Jain was accompanied by DIG IRP Jammu, Vinod Kumar and SSP, SO to ADG, Armed, Dilip Kumar.

Upon their arrival, they recived Guard of Honour.

During the visit, Jain inspected various key facilities of the battalion.

His itinerary included thorough checks of the motor transport store, equipment store, ration store, wet canteen, dry canteen, and the main administrative office, along with a complete survey of the entire battalion area. These inspections aimed at assessing the logistical preparedness, operational readiness, and living conditions of the personnel.

He interacted with the Police personnel and emphasised importance of maintaining a high standard of conduct and professionalism.

He urged the Police personnel to stay away from drug abuse, highlighting its detrimental effects on individual well-being and the integrity of the force.

During his visit, Jain also inaugurated the CCTV surveillance system, the refurbished footpath, and the renovated mess and combined dining hall.

The inauguration marks a significant step towards enhanced security and improved infrastructure within the battalion premises.

SSP Rajouri Gaurav Sikarwar and SSP Commandant IR 2nd Bn Nasir Khan were also present on the occasion.
