
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir reached its maiden Ranji Trophy final on Wednesday, earning congratulations from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for a historic six-wicket win over two-time champions Bengal at the Bengal Cricket Academy ground in Kalyani.

JK is likely to face Karnataka in the final, with the latter having taken a first-innings lead against Uttarakhand in the other semifinal.
Nabi has been pivotal throughout the season, including a decisive performance in the quarterfinal against Madhya Pradesh, where he took 12 wickets in the match—7 for 40 in the first innings and 5 for 70 in the second—helping JK secure a 56-run win.
