GMC Jammu Faculty Recruitment 2026 Under Academic Arrangement Basis

Government Medical College Jammu has invited fresh applications for engagement of Faculty posts on Academic Arrangement basis. The selection will be made under SO 364 of 2020 read with Government Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 04 April 2023.

Applications are invited from eligible doctors who are Non-PSC, retired, or otherwise eligible as per rules. The engagement will be initially for one year and may be extended up to a maximum period of six years, subject to performance and availability of posts.

Eligibility Criteria of GMC Jammu Faculty Vacancies

In-service candidates are not eligible to apply. Non-domicile candidates may apply only for posts marked with an asterisk, if applicable.

Application Fee

Candidates must submit a Bank Draft of Rs. 3000 drawn in favour of Principal, Government Medical College Jammu. The draft must be issued by J&K Bank only.

Documents Required

Applicants must attach attested copies of required documents including date of birth certificate, domicile certificate, MBBS and postgraduate qualifications, registration certificates, experience certificates, research publications, affidavit, and other relevant documents as specified.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must submit a typed application in the prescribed Annexure A format. The application along with required documents and bank draft should reach the office of the undersigned on or before 27 February 2026.
