University of Kashmir has invited applications for Research Project Staff under an ICSSR sponsored Major Research Project. The recruitment is purely temporary and for a specific period.

The extension of engagement depends on performance and work involved in data collection and compilation. The decision of the selection committee in consultation with the Project Coordinator will be final.

Eligibility Criteria of University of Kashmir Research Vacancies

Research Assistant	Post Graduate in Social Science Discipline with minimum 55% marks	NET/SET/GATE qualified candidates will be given preference
Field Investigator	Post Graduate in any Social Science Discipline with minimum 55% marks	Post Graduate in Social Science Discipline with minimum 55% marks

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit, performance in interview and knowledge related to project work. Mere possession of required qualification does not guarantee selection.

The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project. TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview. Interview will preferably be held offline. In special cases, online interview may be conducted on request with valid justification.
