Discusses current political scenario and issues related to tourism sector

Srinagar, February 10: Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir called on Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha on Tuesday at Raj Bhavan in Jammu.
During the meeting, they discussed the current political and security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir. Ghulam Hassan Mir brought several pressing public issues to the notice of the Lieutenant Governor.
On the occasion, Ghulam Hassan Mir also raised issues related to the tourism sector and urged the LG to address them. He requested that three prominent tourist locations in the vicinity of Gulmarg —Baderkote, Gogaldara, and Ringwali— be opened to tourists. Mir said that all three locations have the potential to attract a large number of visitors, thereby generating economic benefits for local residents. He added that these areas are completely safe and secure for tourists.
