“Where Are Your Promises?”: MLA Kupwara Hits Out at NC Leadership | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: MLA Kupwara Mir Muhammad Fayaz on Saturday accused the National Conference (NC) leadership of “political hypocrisy, selective memory and betrayal” over Article 370, statehood, and unemployment.

Mir accused the NC leaders of wasting the House’s time on “taunts and theatrics.”

“For the last five days, this House has done nothing but taunt each other. The people of Jammu and Kashmir did not send us here for this,” Mir said.

Mir also took aim at the National Conference’s election pledges.“You said you will bring back Article 370, restore statehood, give one lakh jobs in three months. Where are those promises? Not even one fulfilled. Instead, you taunt us day and night. The people can see who really delivered, “he said.

He also accused the party of forgetting JK’s real issues. “Our youth are being humiliated in other states, verification reports are ruining careers and yet all we hear in this House are taunts. Talk about jobs, talk about the NHM employees, PDD workers, casual labourers who have waited 20 years for justice,” he said.
