Mother of senior PTI journalist Sumir Kaul passes away

Srinagar, Feb 6: Santosh Kaul, mother of senior Sumir Kaul of Press Trust of India, passed away this afternoon after a prolonged illness. She was 75.

Originally a resident of Jogilankar, Rainawari in Srinagar, Kaul had been unwell for some time and was staying in Delhi with her two sons.

Her demise has been widely mourned by members of the journalist fraternity and well-wishers, who extended their condolences to the bereaved family.
