Eligibility Criteria of IIT Jammu Sports Coach Vacancies

Educational Qualification
For Sports Coach (Athletics):

• Bachelor’s degree with Diploma in Sports Coaching (Athletics) from SAI or equivalent with basic computer knowledge
  OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with six-week certificate course in Athletics and one year relevant coaching experience with basic computer knowledge
  OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with two years relevant coaching experience with basic computer knowledge
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree with representation at Senior National or All India University level in Athletics with three years coaching experience
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree with certificate or license in Athletics Coaching from Federations or SAI with one year coaching experience
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree with representation at Olympics or Asian Games level in Athletics

For Sports Coach (Badminton):

• Bachelor’s degree with Diploma in Sports Coaching (Badminton) from SAI or equivalent with basic computer knowledge
  OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with six-week certificate course in Badminton and one year relevant coaching experience
  OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with two years relevant coaching experience
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree with representation at Senior National or All India University level in Badminton with three years coaching experience
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree with certificate or license in Badminton Coaching from Federations or SAI with one year coaching experience
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree with representation at Olympics or Asian Games level in Badminton

Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 35 years.

Salary and Engagement Period

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary between Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month.
The engagement will be initially for one year or as per requirement and may be extended based on performance and institutional needs.
