J&K Sports Council invites applications for special cash awards

Srinagar, Jan 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council has invited applications from the ‘eligible domiciles’ for outstanding sportspersons for the grant of special cash awards for the year 2024–25.

According to an advertisement notice issued by the Sports Council, the awards will be granted to sportspersons who secured first, second and third positions in national and international competitions during 2024–25, conducted by authorised National or International Sports Bodies or Federations.

The notice said that medals earned in National and International competitions held at sub-junior, junior and senior levels during the period from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, supported by Xerox copies of certificates or documentary proof, will be considered.

As per notice, the applications should be submitted in the prescribed format available on the official website jksportscouncil.in, to the office of the Divisional Sports Officer, Kashmir/Jammu, J&K Sports Council at New Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, Jammu, or Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar.

The last date for submission of applications is 10 Feb 2026. The notice adds that applications received after the due date or those found incomplete will not be entertained.
