Burglary case solved within 24 hours in Sopore

Sopore, Jan 24: Sopore Police have solved a burglary case within 24 hours of its reporting, leading to the arrest of the accused and recovery of stolen property.

A statement said that Police Station Sopore received a written complaint that burglars broke open a shop located at Iqbal Market and stole crockery items etc.

During the course of investigation, one suspect, Danish Ahmad Gojri confessed to his involvement in the burglary, said police. Police later recovered stolen property worth lakhs of rupees within 24 hours of the registration of the case. The accused has been arrested in the case. Further investigation is underway to ascertain any additional involvement or linkages in this incident.
