Girl Critically Injured in Kulgam as Walnut Tree Branch Falls During Gusty Winds | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A 16-year-old girl sustained critical injuries in Kund, Kulgam, after a branch of a walnut tree fell on her during strong gusty winds on Thursday late evening.

An official said that the injured has been identified as Renu Jan, daughter of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Chittergam, Kund. According to reports, she was at her relative’s house in Oriel Kund when the accident occurred. The sudden snapping of the tree branch left her seriously hurt.

Renu was immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for treatment. Further details regarding her condition are awaited. (KNC)
