Eligibility Criteria of JKSSB Constable Vacancies

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Matriculation from a recognized board.

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as on 01 January 2025.

Candidates should not be born after 01 January 2007.

Other Requirements

Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir and possess a valid domicile certificate on or before the last date of application.

Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages:

1. Written Examination (Objective Type)
2. Physical Standard Test
3. Physical Endurance Test
4. Medical Examination
5. Document Verification

Physical tests are qualifying in nature.

Physical Standards and Endurance Test

For Male Candidates:
Height: 5 feet 6 inches
Chest: 32 inches unexpanded and 33.5 inches expanded

For Female Candidates:
Height: 5 feet 2 inches

Physical Endurance Test includes running, push-ups for males, and shot put for females as prescribed in the notification.
