Defence Research & Development Organization has released an official notice for walk-in interviews at Defence Materials & Stores Research & Development Establishment, Kanpur.

The walk-in interview is being conducted to award Research Associateship and Junior Research Fellowships for eligible candidates. Eligibility Criteria of DRDO DMSRDE Vacancies

Junior Research Fellow	Post Graduate degree in relevant basic science discipline in first division with NET qualification OR Graduate degree in professional course (B.E./B.Tech.) in first division with NET/GATE OR Post Graduate degree in professional course (M.E./M.Tech.) in first division at both Graduate and Post Graduate level	Maximum 28 years as on date of interview

Age relaxation is applicable as per rules for SC, ST and OBC candidates. OBC candidates belonging to creamy layer are not eligible for age relaxation.

Fellowship Stipend and Benefits

Research Associate Stipend	₹67,000 per month
Junior Research Fellow Stipend	₹37,000 per month for 1st and 2nd year
Contingency Grant (JRF)	₹15,000 per annum (may be increased in subsequent years)
Contingency Grant (RA)	₹20,000 per annum

Selected candidates will also be eligible for HRA as per government rules. Medical facilities are available for self only through MI Room facility at the campus. No other allowances such as DA, CCA, bonus or retirement benefits are applicable.

Walk-in Interview Venue and Instructions

The walk-in interview will be held at DMSRDE Transit Facility near DRLM Puliya, G.T. Road, Kanpur – 208004.

Candidates must bring a filled application form, bio-data, recent passport size photograph and self-attested copies of all certificates. Original documents including mark sheets, degree certificates, community certificate (if applicable), NET or GATE score card and valid ID proof must be produced at the time of interview.

Candidates working in Government, PSU or Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.
