JKPC General Secretary Extends Shab-e-Meraj Greetings | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) and President of the All JK Shia Association, Molvi Imran Ansari, on Friday extended greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Shab-e-Meraj.

In his message, Ansari highlighted the spiritual significance of Shab-e-Meraj, which commemorates the night journey and ascension of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He said the occasion reaffirms faith, patience and the central importance of Salat in a believer’s life. Referring to the Quranic verse from Surah Al-Isra (17:1), he said the event conveys a message of hope, discipline and closeness to Allah.

Ansari also emphasised that Shab-e-Meraj calls upon believers to follow the path of Ahl-e-Bait (AS), upholding justice, moral courage and steadfastness, particularly during times of hardship.

He offered prayers for peace, dignity and protection of the Muslim Ummah, with special mention of the oppressed people of Palestine. He also prayed for the safety and well-being of the people of Iran, and for the long life and good health of Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei and Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husayni al-Sistani.

Concluding his message, Ansari appealed for unity, brotherhood and collective prayer among Muslims, stressing that solidarity and faith remain essential in addressing injustice and discord.
