Kathua Encounter: Police Reject Claims of SOG Personnel Injured | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Kathua Police on Friday dismissed as false the claims circulating on social media that a Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel was injured during the recent encounter with terrorists in the district.

In a rebuttal issued by the police, it was clarified that no SOG personnel sustained any injuries in the operation, terming the reports as baseless and devoid of facts.

Kathua Police has urged citizens to refrain from sharing unverified or misleading information, including images, related to counter-terrorism operations, stating that such circulation could compromise national security.

The police further appealed to the public to rely only on official sources for accurate and authentic information. (KNC)
