GMC Anantnag Recruitment 2026 Notification For Senior Resident / Demonstrator Posts

Government Medical College, Anantnag has released Advertisement Notice No. 01 GMCA of 2026 dated 03-01-2026 inviting online applications from eligible candidates domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The recruitment is for tenure posts of Senior Residents / Demonstrators in the disciplines of Pharmacology and Radiodiagnosis.

Interested candidates must possess the prescribed academic and professional qualifications and fulfil all eligibility conditions before applying. The appointments will initially be for one year and may be extended up to a maximum of three years based on the performance of the selected candidates and recommendation of the concerned HOD.

Post Name: Senior Resident / Demonstrator

Eligibility Criteria of GMC Anantnag Senior Resident / Demonstrator Posts

Only candidates domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir are eligible.

1) Pharmacology
a) MBBS with MD/DNB in the concerned discipline from an Institution recognized by the National Medical Commission and registered with the J&K State Medical Council.
or
b) Post-graduate medical degree in Master of Science with Doctor of Philosophy in the medical subjects of the concerned discipline from a recognized medical institution.

2) Radiodiagnosis
MBBS with MD/DNB in the concerned discipline from an Institution recognized by the National Medical Commission and registered with the J&K State Medical Council.

Age limit
The age limit shall be as per the applicable recruitment rules. No specific age limit is mentioned in the notification.

Tenure of Appointment

The selected candidates will be appointed initially for a period of one year. The tenure can be extended annually up to a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory performance and recommendation of the concerned HOD.

Application Fee

Candidates must submit a non-refundable bank draft of Rs. 500 in favour of Principal, Government Medical College Anantnag, payable at J&K Bank Dialgam.
