Cluster University of Jammu has released an official advertisement notice inviting applications from retired or likely to be retired candidates for engagement on a contractual basis. The recruitment is for Assistant Registrar and Section Officer / Head Assistant posts.

The applications are invited from candidates having experience of working in the University System or Government Higher Education Institutions. Interested candidates must submit the prescribed application form through post on or before 21 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Cluster University of Jammu Vacancies

Tenure and Engagement Conditions


The engagement shall be for a period of one year or till the candidate attains the age of 65 years or till a permanent arrangement is made, whichever is earlier.

The contract may be extended based on performance and requirement of the University. The engagement is terminable with one month’s notice from either side or payment of one month’s salary in lieu of notice.

How to Apply


The application form must be downloaded from the official website of Cluster University of Jammu.

Candidates must apply only on the prescribed application form. Applications submitted on plain paper will be rejected.

The completed application form should reach the Office of the Assistant Registrar (Administration), Cluster University of Jammu, Adjoining G.G.M. Science College, Canal Road, Jammu–180016 (UT of J&K) by Registered or Speed Post only on or before 21 January 2026.

Applications sent through courier services will not be accepted.
