13-Year-Old Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in South Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A 13-year-old boy was found unconscious under mysterious circumstances at his residence in the Nowpora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday, officials said.

Officials said the boy, whose identity has been withheld, was discovered unconscious inside his home by family members. He was immediately rushed to the Government Medical College, Anantnag for medical treatment.

However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead, officials said.

Following the declaration, the body was shifted to Emergency Hospital Qazigund for medico-legal formalities and completion of other required procedures.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances of the death. Officials said all possible angles are being examined as part of the inquiry. [KNT]
