
The Department of Geoinformatics, University of Kashmir, Hazratbal Srinagar has released an advertisement inviting applications for research project positions. The project is titled “Permafrost under climate change in two contrasting catchments of the western Himalaya: Implications for infrastructure and lives of marginal communities”.
There are three vacancies in total. These include two Junior Research Fellow (JRF) posts and one Technical Assistant (TA) post. The project is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Advanced Research Grant scheme. The posts are temporary and are initially for one year, extendable up to five years based on performance and availability of funds.
