ICAI organises industrial visit for CA students at P Mark manufacturing unit

Jammu, Dec 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Branch of the Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organised an industrial visit for Chartered Accountancy students at P Mark (PBI India Pvt. Ltd.), a leading North Indian food manufacturing unit located at SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana.

The visit was led by CA Amit Gupta, Vice Chairman of the J&K Branch of NIRC-ICAI, along with CA Ayush Sawhney and CA Ayush Mahajan, Executive Committee Members. A large number of CA students participated, eager to gain practical exposure to industrial operations and large-scale manufacturing processes.

During the visit, Archit Puri, Director of P Mark (PBI India Pvt. Ltd.), personally interacted with students and provided an in-depth overview of industrial activities, manufacturing processes, quality control mechanisms, and hygiene standards followed at the unit.

He shared the vision and growth journey of the organisation since its establishment in 1933, highlighting how commitment to quality, ethical practices, and continuous innovation has helped P Mark emerge as one of the largest and most trusted food brands in North India.

Puri motivated students to uphold ethical values, professional integrity, and quality work in their careers, emphasising the crucial role professionals play in nation-building and sustainable industrial growth.

CA Amit Gupta said such industrial visits are an integral part of the Branch’s initiatives to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, enabling CA students to better understand real-world business environments.
