Karra reaffirms Congress’ commitment to uphold values of Constitution

Srinagar, Dec 28: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra led the party leaders to observe the its 141st Foundation Day at Srinagar party office, highlighted the “sacrifices, selfless services of the party towards the nation building, people empowerment, maintaining unity and harmony in the country,” said a press release.

Karra reaffirmed the party’s commitment under the leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge, CPP Chairperson, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to uphold the values of Constitution of India saying that every Congress worker and leader feels bound to fight to safeguard Constitution and save the democracy and democratic institutions, which stands guarantee to justice and equality.

JKPCC President conveyed greetings to every Congress worker, “whose unwavering commitment and hard work continue to sustain this magnificent movement, reflecting that Congress is the only unifying force in the country, which stands guarantee to protection of constitutional rights of every individual living in the country irrespective of his/her caste, region, religion or colour,” said the press release.

Later,the JKPCC President presided over a monthly review of Blocks across the Kashmir region in which Block Presidents from all the districts were present and gave feedback to the PCC President with respect to their organisational activities on the ground. They also briefed PCC President about the current socio-political scenario obtaining in their Blocks and detailed out the political activities and worker’s meetings conducted during the current month in their Blocks.
