Jammu Kashmir: Old Mortar Shell Found, Destroyed | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Police on Monday recovered an old rusted mortar shell from near the premises of Police Station Kalakote in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

Official sources said that the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was immediately called to the spot. After sanitising and thoroughly checking the area, the shell was safely destroyed.

No injury or damage to property was reported, they added. (KNC)
