Heavy Vehicles Banned on Tangmarg-Gulmarg Road Amid Weather Alert | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Authorities have imposed traffic restrictions on the Tangmarg Gulmarg road following a weather advisory predicting rain and snowfall.

Officials said heavy vehicles and vehicles without anti skid chains will not be allowed to ply on the route in either direction. The restriction will come into force with the onset of rain or snowfall and will continue until further orders.

The move aims to prevent accidents and traffic disruptions during harsh weather conditions. Drivers and vehicle owners have been asked to strictly follow the advisory in the interest of public safety.

Officials warned that any violation or negligence will invite strict action.

The Tehsildar Tangmarg and the SHO of police stations Tangmarg and Gulmarg have been directed to ensure full compliance on the ground. (KNS)
