Suspected woman from PoJK captured at LoC in Poonch

Rajouri, Dec 16: A woman, suspected to be from Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), has been captured on Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar sub division of J&K’s Poonch district.

Prima facie, she has been identified as 35-year-old Shahnaz Akhter from Gimma village of PoJK.

It has been learnt that alert troops of Indian Army while guarding LoC noticed a suspicious movement and managed to intercept a woman who was reportedly trying to infiltrate from LoC.

She was immediately detained and has been shifted to army camp where a joint teams of army and lady police personnel is questioning the suspect.
