Nepali domestic help found dead

Srinagar, Dec 10: A 25-year-old man from Nepal was declared dead on Tuesday after being brought to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital in Srinagar by a Police party from Police Station Saddar, officials said.

The deceased has been identified as Rajan Singh, son of Nerooj Singh of Dagri Boriya, Nepal. According to Police, he had been working as a domestic help at the residence of Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh, son of Habibullah Sheikh of Housing Colony, Sanat Nagar, Srinagar.

Hospital authorities said that Singh was brought dead upon arrival.

Police have taken cognisance of the matter, and necessary medico-legal formalities have been initiated. Further investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of death.
