India’s BonV Aero wins top defence innovation award

Leh, Dec 2: Indian aerospace start-up BonV Aero has received the SIDM Champion Award (Special Jury) for its breakthrough work in indigenous heavy-lift, high-altitude drone technology.

A statement said that the award was presented by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi, recognising the company’s role in addressing key defence capability gaps.

BonV Aero’s drones have already been operationally deployed in Ladakh, successfully carrying payloads of up to 10 kg in extreme terrain and weather.
