Dharmendra’s condition reportedly worsened after his discharge, with news outlets and social media reporting the arrival of an ambulance at his residence on Monday morning, confirming speculation about his deteriorating health. Family members, including sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, as well as wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol, were present at his side, and his final rites were conducted at the Juhu crematorium in Mumbai.

Widely regarded as Indian cinema’s original action star, Dharmendra starred in iconic films like Sholay, Dharam Veer, Chupke Chupke, and Yaadon Ki Baarat, with a career spanning more than six decades. As tributes poured in from film personalities, politicians, and fans, his passing triggered an outpouring of grief across social media and prominent broadcast outlets. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and several Bollywood celebrities attended the last rites to pay their respects.

Earlier in November 2025, Dharmendra’s family had battled persistent rumours regarding his death, issuing statements and requesting privacy after media houses ran unverified reports. h
