Body of 45-Year-Old Man Recovered from River Jhelum

SRINAGAR: The body of a 45-year-old man was retrieved from the River Jhelum on Sunday, officials said.

Officials said that a man who allegedly had jumped into river Jehlum at Zaina Kadal on October 20 was retrieved today by a joint team or SDRF QRT Jehlum, River police and local police.

The deceased has been identified as Mohd Rafeeq Ahangar(45) son of Mohd Jamal Ahangar resident of Dalal Mohalla Zaina Kadal Srinagar.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (GNS)
