Fire Breaks Out in Srinagar, Several Houses Engulfed

SRINAGAR: A massive fire broke out on Monday evening in the Fatehkadal area of Srinagar, engulfing at least three to four residential houses in the densely populated locality.

According to the Fire and Emergency Services Department, several fire tenders have been rushed to the spot and men are on the job to douse the flames. The fire has spread to multiple structures due to the congested layout of the area.

Efforts are underway to contain it and prevent further damage. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
