9-Year-Old Boy Killed in Tractor Accident in North Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A 9-year-old boy lost his life after being hit by a tractor in the Wahdina area of Chandoosa in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday, official sources said.

They said the boy, identified as Husaib Riyaz, son of Riyaz Ahmad Khan, sustained critical injuries after being struck by the tractor while he was in the area.

“He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla for treatment,” they said.

However, doctors at GMC Baramulla declared him dead on arrival, the officials added.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further proceedings are underway.(KNS)
