85-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Hit by Tipper in South Kashmir

SRINAGAR: An 85-year-old man from Zadoora area of Pulwama died after being hit by an unknown tipper at Newa Pulwama on Friday.

Officials said the victim, identified as Abdul Rahim Khanday, son of Mohammad Ismail Khanday, was crossing the road when the accident occurred. He sustained multiple injuries in the mishap.

Khanday was initially taken to Bone and Joint Hospital, Barzulla and later referred to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, for advanced treatment.

Hospital sources confirmed that the victim died in the hospital. (KNT)
