600 Accounts Assistant Posts In Finance Department, Apply Online Now, Last Date Jan 6

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 10 of 2025 dated 24 November 2025 for the recruitment of Accounts Assistants in the Finance Department under UT Cadre. A total of 600 vacancies are to be filled through direct recruitment.

Eligible domicile candidates of Jammu & Kashmir can apply online within the prescribed dates. Selection will be made purely on the basis of performance in the written/OMR examination.

Eligibility Criteria

Domicile

Candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid domicile certificate as on the cut-off date.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any stream from a recognized university
• Minimum marks:
  – 50% for Open Merit
  – 45% for Reserved Categories
• Candidates with Post-Graduation (50% marks) or PhD are also eligible

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

Application Fee

Fee must be paid online through Net Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

• Objective Type Written/OMR Examination
• Questions will be in English language only
• Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
• Final merit will be prepared solely on written examination marks

Candidates must apply online through the JKSSB official website. No other mode of application will be accepted. Applicants are advised to submit applications well before the last date to avoid technical issues.
