NHPC Limited has officially released Advertisement No. NH/Rectt./03/2025 inviting online applications for 361 apprenticeship training positions for one year duration. The available positions are distributed across Graduate, Diploma, and ITI level apprenticeships at NHPC’s Corporate Office in Faridabad and various project units across India (HP, J&K, Haryana, Chandigrah, Uttrakhand, Ladakh, WB, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur).

The apprenticeship engagement covers a range of trades including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, HR, Finance, Law, Nursing, Safety, and various ITI trades. The minimum age required is 18 years and the maximum is 30 years. Selected apprentices will receive a stipend between ₹12,000 and ₹15,000 depending on their qualification.

Interested and eligible candidates can register and apply online from 11th July to 11th August 2025 through the official NHPC website after enrolling on NATS (for Graduate/Diploma) or NAPS (for ITI). The selection will be based purely on academic merit, without any interview.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, and other essential details below.

Applicants must have a relevant qualification in the applied trade:
Graduate Apprentices: B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. in relevant engineering fields or graduate degrees in Law, HR, Mass Communication, etc.
Diploma Apprentices: Diploma in relevant engineering, medical, or safety fields.
ITI Apprentices: ITI trade certificate in relevant disciplines.

The age of applicants should be between 18 and 30 years as on the date of application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules. Candidates must be medically fit and should not have undergone apprenticeship training previously.

How to Apply:

After registration, they must apply online through NHPC’s official website www.nhpcindia.com by visiting the “Career” section and selecting “Engagement of Apprentice”. Required documents such as registration proof, certificates, age proof, caste certificate, photograph, and signature must be uploaded during the application.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be purely based on merit. The merit will be determined from academic scores as per the following:

Graduate: 10th (20%) + 12th/Diploma (20%) + Degree (60%)
Diploma: 10th (30%) + Diploma (70%)
ITI: 10th (30%) + ITI (70%)

Preference will be given in the following order: Project Affected Families, candidates from the project district, candidates from the state, and others based on merit.
