307 House Physician Posts Abolished as Govt Creates 121 Senior Resident Positions

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved the creation of 121 posts of Senior Residents and Tutors in Government Medical Colleges of Srinagar and Jammu by abolishing 307 posts of House Physicians and House Surgeons.

The sanction has been accorded to the creation of 54 posts of Senior Residents and Tutors in Government Medical College, Srinagar, by corresponding reduction of 137 posts of House Physicians and House Surgeons.

Similarly, 67 posts of Senior Residents and Tutors have been created in Government Medical College, Jammu, through the reduction of 170 posts of House Physicians and House Surgeons.
