2 arrested with contraband in Ramban’s Chanderkote: Police

Ramban Jul 21: Ramban Police arrested two persons after they recovered 7Kg and 740 grams of contraband (poppy straw) from their scooter, during a checking in Chanderkote on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Monday.

Police sources on a specific and credible input regarding the transportation of narcotics (Poppystraw) a special Naka was established by a Police team on National Highway -44, Chanderkote.

They said a scooty bearing registration number PB07CB-3332, which was coming from the Ramban side, was intercepted for checking.
