16-Year-Old Killed in Srinagar Road Accident | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A 16-year-old boy lost his life in a road accident at Bemina Bypass near Haj House in Srinagar, officials said.

The accident took place on the National Highway stretch at Bemina when a truck bearing registration number JK05-7936 hit a motorcycle.

The injured motorcyclist was immediately rushed to JVC Hospital, Bemina, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Adnan Zahoor, a resident of Housing Colony Bemina.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation. The truck involved in the accident has been seized and legal proceedings under relevant sections have been set into motion.

Authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution while driving, particularly along busy highway stretches within city limits. [KNT]
